Sustainable heat generation for a residential development

Gärtnerstrasse, Bühlwiesenstrasse in Dübendorf
2010
Project Description

Four new heat pump systems with separate domestic hot water production

The development consisted of four semi-detached apartment buildings with a shared heating system. During the renovation phase, four new heat pump systems, each with a heating capacity of 100kW, were installed in three existing garage units and the old technical room.

Project Description

Heating system upgrade from oil to brine/water heat pump

The idea was to heat each property individually with a central plant and to provide the necessary space for this. In two of the buildings, the new underground car park was extended to include two technical rooms. The ground probes were designed as a ring main, so that all heat pumps could benefit from the entire cold network, thereby achieving higher efficiency.
