Sustainable heat generation for a residential development
Supply a development with renewable heat

In addition to the engine's waste heat, the MS Helvetia has a standard oil heating system that runs on marine diesel, for when the ship is stationary. This system is old and needs to be replaced.

To better control the ship's heating, three new climate zones were established and centrally regulated with room sensors. The goal was to heat the colder stern more than the warmer bow, and to maintain a constant temperature in the 1st class area. Additionally, four fan coil units were installed in the entrance area.
