A gas heating system was installed in the existing new build project. This was supplemented by a cascaded heat pump system with 30kW heating capacity. The system provides heating in winter down to an outdoor temperature of +8°C, and cools the building in summer.

Hot Summers
The client was looking for a solution to cool the office spaces, which get very hot in summer. We proposed supplementing the existing gas-fired heat generation with two NP-AW 20-20 units from Alpha innoTec. The individual floors are equipped with terminal strips, so that the room thermostats automatically open in summer when the rooms are too hot.
