When a Heat Pump Is Not an Option: 480 kW from Pellets
For a listed property with annual gas consumption of around 1 million kWh, our feasibility study led to a 480 kW twin-boiler pellet heating system.

For us, the process does not start with choosing a heat pump. It starts with the existing property. We inspect the building and use previous oil or gas consumption to determine the heating output actually required. We also account for the fact that older oil and gas boilers lose part of their energy through flue-gas and standby losses. This allows us to size the new heat pump to suit the building without adding unnecessary capacity reserves. Together with the customer, we determine the appropriate installation location and clarify noise, pipe routing, domestic hot water and any other specific requirements at an early stage.

For heating replacements in family homes, we coordinate the entire project. From the necessary assessments and permits to electrical work, building work and other associated trades, through to installation and commissioning of the heat pump, everything comes together with us. We work with long-standing partner companies we know and can rely on. What does the customer have to do? Essentially, just pay our invoice. We take care of the rest. Our goal is not simply to install a new heat pump, but to deliver a system that suits the house and keeps the customer satisfied for many years.

Two Fröling wood-chip boilers with outputs of 150 and 60 kW supply houses and apartment buildings in Freudwil through a private district heating network. We installed the central plant, substations and complete connections for the individual heat consumers.
