The bathroom at Gütschstrasse in Binz called for a high-quality renovation with carefully targeted changes. The existing tiles on the front wall were retained, while the rear wall received a new finish. We selected the new tiles with particular care to create a harmonious transition to the existing surfaces. During the work, we also discovered a problem with the original wall construction: There was no backing wall, and the tiles had been laid directly onto insulation mats. We corrected this construction to provide a sound basis for a bathroom designed to be enjoyed for years to come.
Our advice began with an on-site consultation. We put together an initial selection of bathroom fixtures, with the customer making the final choices after visiting Sanitas Troesch. We also organised the tiler and the other trades involved. This gave the customer one point of contact to guide the selection and coordinate the work. Carefully matched details and the corrected wall construction brought the renovated bathroom together.
In Zumikon, we replaced the existing heat pump with the appropriate NIBE successor model. The new unit had to continue providing heating, domestic hot water and cooling from a very small plinth – and we also brought the faulty wine-cooling unit back into operation.
